The Zoo is home to hundreds of native North American animals including, alligator, black bear, wolves, bobcat, whitetail deer, cougar, river otter, porcupine, bison, also exotic animals from around the world, wallaby, patagonian cavy, ring-tailed lemur, camel, reindeer, sika deer, sulcata tortoise to name a few. The zoo is a small intimate family run zoo nestled in the mature pine forests on the northern shores of Lake Michigan. We offer a child friendly atmosphere and people friendly animals. You will enjoy the natural wooded appeal of mature pine trees and cedar mulched trails. You will see, learn about and enjoy animals from all over the world. Take a walk in the woods and see live animals up close.
