The animal park Gramat is at the heart of the Natural Park of Causses of Quercy between Rocamadour and Padirac. It opened in 1979, and shows animals from this special natural area. The conservatory of domestic species has been formed to save species of domestic animals that have existed for centuries, but, unfortunately, are gradually disappearing. At the wildlife park in Gramat visitors are inserted fully into a protected natural environment in the wild surrounding vegetation.
