Large, spectacular and modern municipal freshwater aquarium in Karlovac - in the town lying on four rivers (Kupa, Korana, Mrežnica and Dobra). AquatiKA was built from EU grants and originally had to be called KAaquarium. Three interconnected underground building with one smaller above-ground floor. There should be about 130 species / 5,000 specimens of freshwater fish - exclusively species from Croatian rivers and lakes (including 40 endemic).
