Chongqing Zoo is the reserve and breeding base for Giant Panda, Lesser Panda and South China Tiger. With the support of Chongqing government, Chongqing Zoo has made extraordinary development. In recent years, antelope room, elephant room, giraffe room, panda room, orangutan room, minilandscape garden and comprehensive tea garden has been newly established. There are hills, bushy woods, green grass, colorful flowers and also a creek floating around the zoo. And many rare animals can been seen, including Giant Panda, Lesser Panda, Golden Monkey, White-headed Leaf-monkey, Budorcas Taxicolor, Gnu and Cassowary.
